About Kathryn Hark

Kathryn Hark

Kathryn has been working as a Body Ecology Diet Coach and as a body worker in Santa Barbara since opening Your Body Workz in 2008. However, her career in nutrition and body therapies has spanned over two decades. As the manager for the professional clinic of the San Diego based Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM), Kathryn learned one of the core principals of the Body Ecology Diet, namely Chinese Dietary Therapy. The Chinese dietary principals emphasize the balance of colors, flavors, and elements, namely air, fire, water and minerals. The other core contributor to Donna Gates Body Ecology Diet comes from the ongoing discoveries in Microbiology and Biochemistry, such as acid alkaline balance and the gut-brain connection. Kathryn started her fascination with Medical Microbiology while at nursing school and during her Master of Public Health Program in San Diego. In addition to having a private practice, Kathryn has worked in some of the top California resorts and spas and as an analyst for medical groups and hospitals.

It is Kathryn’s belief that the best treatments come from the areas of Oriental Medicine, Homeopathy, and Osteopathy. To that end, Kathryn has been steadily adding value to her clients with therapies from these three areas.  In particular, since 2014 she has offered a therapy that combines all three: Nambutripad Allergy Elimination Technique (NAET). Seamlessly combining nutrition, homeopathy, and osteopathic based therapies is what Kathryn does best and what Kathryn Hark is all about.
